Naomi Wendot brings a heart for widows and vulnerable women, rooted in her personal testimony. Her mother raised 10 children as a widow, inspiring Naomi's passion for empowering women through training and sustainable projects.
As a former AWEP (African Women Empowerment Program) Trainer, Naomi has seen firsthand how skills training transforms lives. She recalls how women would look forward to training sessions daily - not just for the skills, but for the hope and community it provided. These women later owned their own businesses and could fend for their families with dignity.
Her approach focuses on practical skills that generate immediate income: soap making, bead making, and craft work. But beyond the technical training, Naomi understands the importance of building confidence and community among women who have often been marginalized.
"A call to help the widows is not just a duty but a call for love to the wonderful ladies who were beautifully designed to shine, regardless of the situation they found themselves in," Naomi shares. Her ministry philosophy centers on restoring not just economic independence, but dignity and hope.
"My mother became a widow and had to raise 10 children on her own. The journey was not easy but by God's grace, we can attest of the Lord's goodness upon our lives. I remember working hard in School... This personal experience drives my passion for empowering other widows and vulnerable women."
